Incubate creates space to pay attention to what God is stirring, discern where the Spirit may be compelling you,
and grow in your capacity to lead faithfully with others.

WHO should apply?

Incubate is for faith-driven people who:

  • Sense that something isn’t as it could be, and feel compelled to respond
  • Are discerning a shift, a call or a new direction
  • Carry an idea, question, possibility or Kingdom Discontent they can’t quite let go of
  • Want to pay attention to what God is doing and respond faithfully
  • Want to grow in spiritual depth, self-understanding and practical leadership capacity
  • Are ready to take faithful steps into, with support, challenge and community alongside them

You might be pioneering something new, reimagining what already exists, or still discerning what faithful response could look like.

Incubate has provided me with the opportunity to develop and become increasingly at peace with what it means for ME to be a leader – who I am, doing what I feel compelled to do.

There is inner work that I have needed to do to direct my outer work, to keep it sincere and fruitful and as God intended for me.  Incubate has enabled me to do this while being surrounded by others who have a heart to do the same.

WHAT is involved?

Incubate is a 20-week formation and leadership development process, running across April–October with a mid-program Intensive and Practitioners’ Collective Retreat.

It brings together on-demand content, fortnightly small-group workshops, personalised coaching and in-person experiences to give you the space, support and challenge to discern what God is stirring, grow as the person who will carry it, and develop your capacity to lead with others.

Cohort Dates: April 12th - October 8th, 2027
    • 10 Weeks of On-Demand Video Modules
    • 10 x Two-Hour Online Small Group Workshops
    • 3 x One-on-One Coaching Sessions
    • Access to The Practitioners’ Collective - our ongoing community of practice for people who lead
    • Online Cohort for Ongoing Support and Connection
    • 2-Day In-person Intensive - 12th-13th July 
      (Location TBC)
    • 3-day In-person Practitioners' Collective Retreat - 14-18 July

Billet accommodation will be available where required. Meals throughout the Intensive and Retreat will be provided. Travel to and from the Intensive and Retreat is additional and covered by the participant.

Incubate 2027 participation fee: $4,200

Participants fund Incubate in different ways. Some pay personally, while others are supported in part or in full by their church, organisation, employer or people who believe in what God is stirring in them.

If you’d like to explore support from others, we can provide a simple resource to help you explain Incubate and invite people or organisations to invest in your participation.

Payment plans are also available.
Project Nexus will help you think and act like an innovative leader, and provide a community of like-minded people to grow and learn with, and be encouraged by.
