Starting

Richard Sharp
There is something powerful about starting. Moving from a place of ideation, vision-casting, and concepts. To a place of action, movement and possibility.

Starting is often the hardest part. It demands significant energy, brute force, and the courage to press play.

I’m not a physics expert, but I understand the basic concepts of motion and momentum. It’s hard to get something started, to get an idea to a place of motion from a place of rest. It takes energy and intention.

But the exciting thing is that this process can very quickly create momentum.

Now, with an idea or innovation in motion, we can truly see what it can become.

This week, after many years of ideation and months of planning, a group of hope-filled, cause-driven leaders from across Australia will start a learning journey together with Project Nexus.

These leaders have all successfully received one of our ‘Nexus Scholarships’ for 2023.  Together, we will spend a year exploring what it means to lead, innovate, and implement what God has put on our hearts.

All of us as individual leaders have mustered up the energy and courage to start, and together we will create momentum.
